The starting point is in Piazza al Serchio where stands an old steam locomotive. Follow the asphalt road for the Pass of the Carpinelli. After a few km, turn right onto the road leading to Giuncugnano and, across the village, keep left for Tea Pass and Monte Argegna that you reach after a few Km. Cross a lawn, where is the Sanctuary of ‘Nostra Signora della Guardia. From here you can enjoy a wonderful panorama of the Apuan Alps. Continue to descend, following the asphalt road up to the Carpinelli pass. Near a small mound, take a dirt road leading to the village of Agliano, down to the lake of Gramolazzo. By the Lake, cross a short gallery, reach the village of Nicciano. Here, following a marked trail that goes down to the right, you arrive at the village of San Michele, continuing the road leading us to the starting point.
